Policies
Cancellations and Changes to Service
Please provide 48 hours advance notice when canceling or changing your
reservation, including early returns. A $25 charge will be applied for
cancellations or early returns with less than 48 hours notice.
Client Interview
Initial client interview is free. A $20 consult fee may be applied for
consults with less notice, and for any update consults that are requested. I
will always do my best to accommodate last minute initial visits free of
charge.
Holiday Fees
An additional fee of $10/visit will be assessed for major holidays.
Inclement Weather
Extreme weather conditions present a unique problem when visits are
scheduled. Visits may be delayed due to unsafe driving conditions and pets
that are sick or in need of medication will receive priority scheduling
during these times. It’s always a good idea to leave a key with a neighbor
for these emergency situations.
Refunds or credits will be issued for those missed walks.
Keys
I require two keys (one as a back up) to your home at the time of
consultation. $10 fee for key drop-off. Other arrangements can be made (via
mail) for no charge.
Last Minute Reservations
As soon as you have plans to travel, contact me as soon as possible to
secure your reservation. Up to two weeks notice may be required during our
busy times. $20 scheduling fee may be applied for visits with less than two
business days’ notice.
Payment for Services
Payment is due immediately upon completion of services. You may leave
payment prior to travel, or mail a check upon return. Payment is due in full
with in 7 days of return. A late charge of $25 will be applied if payment is
not received by day 10. Checks returned for any reason will result in a $25
return check fee.
Plant Watering
As part of our service, we are happy to water up to ten indoor plants.
Additional fees may be applied for more plants and/or outdoor watering.
Security Systems
I will review your system with you at our initial client consult. Please do
not give out your master code but setup a unique code for my use while
caring for your pet.
